Global Warming is a serious environmental problem caused by the rapid rise in the
Earth's temperature. The unfortunate thing is that wildlife and their habitats are being harmed.
Because of the advent of human activities such as cutting trees, soil degradation, etc. we are
being affected by the sudden rise of the heat of the planet. Thus, with that the Isabela Provincial
Government initiated revitalization of its legacy tree planting project, One Million Trees in One
Day, with the goal of restoring destroyed forests caused by wildfires and massive flooding
caused by Typhoon Ulysses, by promoting bamboo planting in the province. The Lider ni Bro
Officers – Ramon Chapter together with BRO scholars took part on this movement at Bugallon
Proper, Ramon, Isabela on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
This aims to protect our environment and maintain the rich biodiversity we have in our
province. We need to learn more about these environmental issues for us to be aware on the
things that we do that may affect our home. If we lack the discipline of protecting our
environment, at the end of the day we suffer and as leaders we should start making a movement
for the betterment of our beloved Earth.
