QR BILLING APP for SUPERMARKETS

Abstract
App for eliminating the queues at supermarkets and stores. Customers can avoid long queues
by scanning the products themselves even before reaching the printing session. This app
creates a checkout session with customer-selected products and they can even pay through the
app so no time waste. Existing databases of the supermarkets can be linked to the app in the
backend thus reducing the pain of shifting the entire catalogue into the app. The app is cloudbased; anyone can access the app from any supermarket in the world. Checkout is only for
premium members. Non-premium members still have to use the traditional method a little bit
to keep track of the products they bought. Staff at the supermarket will verify the products
while packing for non-premium members. Customers first scan the QR placed on the trolley to
get the store details and product database ready to be scanned.
