Barte, Mary Sardenel R. ABPsy1 IMPROMPTU SPEECH TOPIC: LGBTQIA+ and HOMOPHOBIA We all know that living in the Philippines, where we are a very religious country, identity, and uniqueness about yourself is still a judgment. They say that it is a sin, the same sexes cannot be together, changing your gender is a betrayal, people will leave you and won’t accept you. Some have just toleration but not acceptance. A few examples are when Charice Pempengco came out as a lesbian turnout to a transman, it was all noise, but now it is changing because most of the part in LGBT is successful and good people, and many influential people using their platform to discuss this matter. And now, it is slowly accepting, and being part of the LGBT is not that fussy unlike then, it is also evolving by adding more letters that we got the chance to understand more them.
