PROPOSAL FOR THE CONDUCT OF PROJECT INSPIRE
College of Teacher Education
I. Title
Project I.N.S.P.I.R.E (Innovating and Nurturing Students’ Performance through
Intervention, Research and Evaluation)
II. Proponents:
Mindoro State University - College of Teacher Education
III. Implementers
The implementers of the project will be the second- and third-year students under the
College of Teacher Education of Mindoro State University.
IV. Date of Implementation
The target date of implementation is every Saturday of the second semester of academic
year 2022-2023. It will be consisted of 10-day training program for the students.
V. Venue
The CTE students will conduct limited face-to-face sessions in the schools, multi-purpose
halls and covered court in different barangays in the locality of Oriental Mindoro
VI. Rationale
Student’ ability and academic skills differs and varies as others may get the lessons faster
and others take time in order for them to digest and understand the content. Most of the
students have low academic achievement especially during the new normal system of
education in which the flexible distance learning has been implemented. Students engaged
themselves in a self-learning approach that’s why it became difficult for them to study and
understood the content.
With the above insights, the MinSu – College of Teacher Education proposed a project
entitled INSPIRE (Innovating and Nurturing Students’ Performance through Intervention,
Research and Evaluation) which will serve as the return of service of the students of
College of Teacher Education. It is a 10-day tutoring, seminars and convocation about the
different academic areas which will be held in the different barangays in the locality of
Oriental Mindoro.
This project aims to further support the students to improve their academic performance
and skills, and achieve the peak of success. Moreover, this will also enhance the teaching
and management skills of the student-teachers and tutors.
VII. Objectives
This project aims to:
 Give academic tutorials, seminars and workshops to the students, out of
school youths and other interested individuals;
 Enhance the academic performance, literacies and skills of the students in
the different barangays in the locality of Oriental Mindoro;
 Encourage the development of a more positive attitude towards learning;
 Provide for an avenue for the exchange of valuable information; and
 Foster harmonious relationship to the members of the community.
