RECRUITMENT FOR SAUDI ARAMCO
Saudi Aramco (Saudi Arabian Oil Company Ltd.) follows strict corporate guidelines to protect
the personal data of all applicants and to ensure compliance with local data protection
regulations.
In this notice, we inform you of the nature of the personal data collected and held in our files and
the purposes of the processing. We advise you to read this notice carefully. You will be asked to
consent to our processing of your personal data for the purposes identified in this notice.
The Purposes for Processing Your Data
The personal information that you provide us is only kept and processed in connection with the
recruitment procedure and related job application. Specific purposes for collecting, applicant data
includes, but is not limited to: (1) identifying, screening, assessing, and selecting applicants to be
considered for employment by Saudi Aramco; (2) verifying the truthfulness of applicant
information through submitted and publicly available information about the applicant; and (3)
relocating applicants into the workforce. The data generated in our files might be used for the
creation of an employment agreement, if an offer is extended. If you become an employee of
Saudi Aramco, your personal data will be governed by applicable law and by Saudi Aramco Policy
which will be communicated to you in due time if an offer is extended.

The information kept in our electronic system and our physical files could include the following

Sensitive Personal Data
The information we keep may include sensitive data when required for legal purposes such as,
for example, visa application or compliance with Saudi Arabian employment, social security and
national laws, or when relevant for specific functions.
Sensitive data may include:

purposes. Such data will not be used for any other reasons.

The consequence of withdrawing your consent to process your data, requesting the erasure of
your data, or restricting and objecting to the processing of your data will result in your application
for potential employment to be withdrawn.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority. The Supervisory
Authority in this instance is the Dutch Supervisory Authority. You may lodge a complaint by
contacting them.
Handling of Your Personal Data
Please note that we have limited the access to the personal data that you provide us with during
the recruitment process to only the individuals within Saudi Aramco and its affiliates and service
providers that need to know and need to have access to carry out their own function. In order to
safeguard your data, we have agreements in place with the aforementioned service providers that
have access to the data.
All Saudi Aramco and affiliate personnel who have access to your personal data operate under
strict corporate guidelines to ensure the protection of the data and compliance with local data
security regulations.
International Transfers
By continuing with this application, you acknowledge that you are aware that the data that you
provide may leave the European Union and be available in Saudi Arabia and other jurisdictions
outside the European Union where the UK Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection
Saudi Aramco: Company General Use
Regulation do not apply but where Saudi Aramco has agreements in place for lawful transfer to
the Aramco Group.
Retention
Information of unsuccessful applicants will be kept on file for a period of one (1) year with consent
of the applicant in case a position opens that meets their profile. Applicants may request earlier
