Director, VP, or Head of Events The Director leads the event strategy, sets the vision, builds the team, allocates budget, and manages external or internal partnerships. Event / Marketing Coordinator They oversee the entire event process, supervising the rest of the team to make sure the event is successfully planned. Marketing Lead They are in charge of the strategy and execution of event communications online and offline, before, during, and after the event: save the dates and invitations, social media posts, website placements, paid ads, content, follow-up emails, etc. Sales / Customer Lead Personnel They assist in developing suitable marketing material, prepare sales proposals, as well as analyze sales and marketing metrics. Designer / Experiential Designer Is in charge of all of your event’s visual components: from the landing page, emails, and social assets to on-site signage, decor, and branded swag. The Event Committee The group involve in the planning and execution of an event. This can be an ad hoc group of the host organization, a team of volunteers, the host's staff, plus the event manager's own team. Together, this group is tasked with putting together all the elements that will make the event a success. The Financier The financier is the money man the one who foots the bill. He/she may not be involved in the planning and execution of the event, but he/she gets a reasonable return on his/her investment. The Supplier The event manager works with other companies that will bring the event concept into a reality. These companies also take their time, resources, and reputations on the event. They are the manager's partners to ensure a winning event.
