friends,Ralph and Stuart

Ralph : Oh.I don’t know.The world is avery big place
Fogg : It was a big place actually.This world is getting smaller everyday gentleman
Ralph : I think Mr Fogg is right.You can go round the world more quickly now.
Stuart : All right,you can goround the world in about 3 months
Fogg : No no,not 3 months,but only 80 days.

Passepartout : Are we travelling,Sir ?

: Yes,we are.Around the world in 80 days.
( gives a huge pile of money Passepartout).Here,put this money in a bag
They arrived at train station and took their places in train,5 minutes later,the train move to
Suez.On their way,they boarded a ship and continue their journey.
Script for Scene 2
Detective Fix was in port Suez , he was waiting the ship from Mongolia. Fix see Mr.Fogg out
to stamps passport and Fix go to town, nearby the port and suddenly meet Passepartout .
FIX
:Can I help you?
PASSEPARTOUT :You are very kind this is Suez?
FIX
: yes, it’s like you haven’t got much time?
PASSEPARTOU :yes, Mr. Fogg hasn’t much time. Last Wednesday he came back from his club
and we start our journey. It’s a bet. We just ran out of the house, and caught
the first train abroad.
Fix
:Did You? for a bet ?where Mr.Fogg going?
PASSEPARTOUT : That’s right. We want to round the world. He gave me an armful of money,
and told me to pack his bags straight away.
FIX
:Round the world? An armful of money?
PASSEPARTOUT : Yes. In eighty days. I’ve never seen so much money in my life. He has a lot of
new banknotes with him, and he buys things all the time. He also gave the
captain of Mongolia a lot of money because he wanted to get to Bombay
early.
FOGG
: Come along, Passepartout. We can’t waste any time. We must hurry, we
have a ship to catch
Fix was sure that Mr. Fogg was the bank robber, because of all of the money he was carrying,
but he was an English policeman, and he couldn’t arrest Mr. Fogg in France. He needed a
special warrant. So he followed us across Europe by train, all the way to Austria, with its
beautiful scenery, then on to Brindisi in southern Italy

At night,near the trees not far from the temple,the guide stopped the elephant and

Silently,passerpartout replaced himself with the dead man.
Early morning, all people busied to prepare for funeral.when some men starts to
fire the wood,suddenly the people shouted because the dead man stood
up.Passerpartout carried Aouda to phileas fogg.
Passerpartout : let’s go quickly before they see us.
Nearly 10 o’clock in the morning,at the railway station.

: that is Allahabad,the train journey to Calcutta is about a day and
a night.
Fogg

On the journey to Calcutta,Aouda learned about her night in the
temple,Passerpartout and the fire too.

them.

They quickly went to the port.for the same time,Fix followed with angrily.

:what is mr.fix doing on this ship?We saw him in suez and now here he is again,is he
following us?but why?(monologue)

: seem your uncle was not in Hong Kong because he was in Holland,I think you should
come to Europe.
Aouda

At the port,passepartout went onto the camatic and paid for three tickets to Yokohama.
Camatic captain:the ship will leave at 8 o’clock this evening not tomorrow.
Passepartout:good, I will tell mr.fogg.he will be happy.
There was a ber at the port,near the ship,mr.fix and passepartout have a conversation there.
Fix:won’t you have a drink with me in this bar?

Passepartout took the drink,then he quitly went to sleep on his chair.fix left him in the bar.in the
evening passepartout walked very slowly out of the bar and he could not see the carnatic from the bar
door and he walked forward to it.
Passepartout:carnatic…..carnatic…..oh no… I forgot to told Mr.Fogg about the ship new timetable to
Yokohama.
Fogg: where is passepartout?
Fix: do you have tickets for the carnatic?i wanted to go to yokohama on the carnatic too.but she left
yesterday evening.so we will have to wait a week for the next ship.
Fogg:But there is another ship in the port of hong kong.the cernatic is not the only ship.let’s go and find
new one ship

So, phileas fogg paid for three tickets to san Francisco.aouda and mr fix also got onto the American ship
