Word Processing Software (Word 2016)
Lesson outcome.
The students should be able to apply some important features in MSWORD program such as:
-
Create: open, new, and save
Edit: select, copy, cut and paste
Insert graphics
Format: paragraph formatting, word wrap, auto content, format painter, page numbering, header
and footer, bullets and numbered lists and text alignment
- Customizing: table and columns formatting
- Tools: spelling and grammar checker
- Preview and printing: properties, paging, page setup and margin

Dear students, please read all the instructions carefully before proceed with the tasks.
1. Create a simple and attractive poster/flyers A4 size using MS WORD.
Warning: DO NOT use the poster/flyer templates found in Microsoft Word.
2. With your own creativity, create a simple and attractive poster/flyers such as “Creative food Sale”,
“Beautiful Spa Promotion”, “Creative Advertising”, “Book for sales”, “Business Event” and etc.
You can refer example as shown in appendix to get the idea.
Use features in Microsoft Word only [Table, Smart Art, Upload Picture, Clip Art and others].
3. Save your document into 2 files as:
i.
“Group_ your fullname_Lab1.docx” example: “TBA1184Aa_Rina Abdullah_Lab1.docx”
ii.
“Group_ your fullname_Lab1.pdf” example: “TBA1184Aa_Rina Abdullah_Lab1.pdf”
4. Please submit 2 documents (. dox and .pdf) into Google Classroom.
5. This task should be completed on today’s lab session. Thanks.
