The purpose of this programme is to develop Information Technology
Professionals that are able to identify opportunities for the design
of software and IT solutions that improve both industry and society.
This is accomplished through the use of their technical skills in data
and process modelling, system evaluation as well as consultancy
and project management skills. The BIT allows students to focus on
technology interventions in Health Informatics, Marine Engineering
and Manufacturing.

the foundation for such roles as Solution Architect, Information
Technology Consultant, Systems Analyst and Chief Information
Officer.
