MORE ABOUT COMPUTER PARTS
C.P.U(Central Processing Unit)
Thecentralprocessingunit (CPU)isthe unit
which performs most of the processing
inside a computer. To control instructions
anddataflow to andfrom other partsof the
computer, the CPU relies heavily on a
chipset, which is a group of microchips
locatedonthemotherboard.
MONITOR
In computers, a monitor is a computer display and
related parts packaged in a physical unit that is
separate from other parts of the computer. Notebook
computers don't have monitors because all the
display and related parts are integrated into the
same physical unit with the rest of the computer. In
practice, the terms monitor and display are used
interchangably.
KEYBOARD
A keyboard is a peripheral device that
enables a user to input text into a
computer or any other electronic
machinery. A keyboard is an input device
and is the most basic way for the user to
communicate with a computer. This
device is patterned after its predecessor,
the typewriter, from which the keyboard
inherited its layout, although the keys or
letters are arranged to function as
electronic switches.
MOUSE
A mouse is a pointing device
used to position a cursor on a
computer screen. This allows
the user to select items
stored on a computer and,
subsequently, perform actions
on those items.
SPEAKER
Speakers are one of the
most common output devices
used with computer systems.
Some speakers are designed
to
work specifically with
computers, while others can
be hooked up to any type of
sound system.
Microphone
Use to record sound
into computer.
PRINTER
In computing, a printer is a peripheral
device which makes a persistent humanreadable representation of graphics or
text on paper. The first computer printer
designed was a mechanically driven
apparatus by Charles Babbage for his
difference engine in the 19th century;
however, his mechanical printer design
was not built until 2000. The first
electronic printer was the EP-101,
invented by Japanese company Epson
and released in 1968.
