Title of the Activity:
Objectives:
GRADE 12 RESEARCH DEFENSE
This activity aims to:
a. to provide the students learning opportunity where they
can showcase their abilities and skills in oral presentation
and research; and
b. to provide the students with an opportunity to defend their
proposed study and respond to constructive criticisms and
discuss their work in -depth with their panellists.

School Principal, SHS Select Teachers, Grade 12 Students
Highlights of the Activity:

A defense proposal was conducted to let Grade
12 student-researchers acquire a meaningful
learning experience where they showcased their
potentials as researchers.

This activity was carried out through the help of
other teachers who served as panellists, whose
functions gave inputs and insights for the
improvement of the students and their outputs.

Students presented their research proposal with
their respective groups, after each presentation,
they were given comments, suggestions, and
recommendations by the panellists.

Students were able to acquire meaningful
experience on this endeavour and eventually
applied their learnings as evident in their
improved research paper/ manuscript.
