What is CEED?
CEED is Common Entrance Exam for Design conducted by IIT Bombay. CEED is the entrance
exam for admission to Master of Design (MDes) programs at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT
Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur and IIITDM Jabalpur.

What is the eligibility to appear for CEED exam?
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed or appearing by July 2021 for● A degree / diploma / post graduate degree programme of minimum 3 years (after 10+2 level), or
● Must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2021
Age Limit:
There is no age limit to appear for CEED.
No of Attempts
Candidates can apply for CEED any number of times.
Note: Eligibility criteria for MDes admission to various institutes may differ from the eligibility criteria for
appearing for CEED. The criteria for each IIT institute is given in the table below.
