Research Project Summary
This course provides a requirement to research and implement an intervention “that either
internal consultants, external consultants, or both internal and external consultants might conduct. It
should help you respond to client requests in the world of work. [We] will need to design, engage a
client, and implement a consulting project. It must include the course concepts in the development of a
proposal, client entry and contract agreement, execution, data collection, [and] analysis of results.”
I am aiming to propose conducting a survey of employees at my organization to determine how,
when, and why they engage in use of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), UKG, along with
soliciting feedback on struggles and frustrations they encounter when trying to use the system, and
what resources they would find helpful when trying to complete tasks or find information in the system.
This is a project that has not been completed since rolling initial rollout of the system 4 years ago and
fits well within the expected job responsibilities of my current role with the organization.
