Limitations
• Initiate continuous ignition before activating anti-icing system in
any phase of flight.
• ENG/NACELLE ANTI-ICE pushbuttons must be actuated and
sufficient thrust maintained to illuminate NAC ON lights when
flying in icing conditions.
• Limit anti-ice operation to 10 seconds per engine during ground
check when ambient temperature is above 4.4°C (40°F) and
when icing conditions do not exist.
• Surface deice must be OFF for takeoff and landing.
