What do prokaryotes, eukaryotes, and viruses have in common?
Which is the most complex? Why?
Endosymbiotic Theory
The theory that states that eukaryotic cells evolved (changed over time) through a process that
involved different types of prokaryotes being engulfed (eaten) and living together inside larger
prokaryotic cells and eventually developing into the cells’ mitochondria, chloroplast and other
membrane bound organelles.
