WEEKLY HOME LEARNING PLAN Grade 11- Statistics and Probability Week 5, Quarter 1 Day & Time (for Grade 11 STEM Descartes, Pearson, Euclid, Euler Marie Curie) Thursday 1:00- 2:00 2:15- 3:15 Most Essential Learning Competency (MELC) •illustrates random sampling • distinguishes between parameter and statistic. • identifies sampling distributions of statistics (sample mean). • finds the mean and variance of the sampling distribution of the sample mean. Learning Tasks Follow the following parts of the module: I. Preliminaries: Take time to read cover page about the content standard, performance standard and learning competencies. II. Scan the module and do the indicated tasks. Read and analyze the lessons in the module. III. Start with Page 2: RANDOM SAMPLING A. Learning Targets B. Read the introduction C. Do activity (Try This!) D. Analyze and Explore the lesson E. Do Activity on page 14 F. Start doing Performance Task page 14 Mode of Delivery Printed Modular Distance Learning (PMDL) A. Use the printed Statistics and Probability Supplementary Learning Materials (SLM) B. Place your Supplementary Learning Materials (SLM) including your outputs in the activity sheet and Assessment part of the module in the learning kits. Let your parent/ guardian hand it over to your adviser on the scheduled date and time at your assigned room. Digital Modular Distance Learning (e-modules) A. Access and download the softcopy or e-modules of Statistics and Probability Supplementary Learning Materials (SLM) sent by your adviser to your email or assigned website. B. Write your answers on the activity sheets and assessment part of the module in your notebook/ paper. Take a picture of your answer and send it online. You may also choose to create a file including all your outputs in the SLM for Statistics and Probability. Rename your file with your name, section and subject. Send it to the assigned online platform (email, google classroom or fb messenger) of your teacher.
