EARTHQUAKE DRILL REPORT
INTRODUCTION
Half of the year has passed since the world experienced a new face of disaster through
the spread of COVID 19 Pandemic. The Philippine government, in its effort to combat the said
pandemic mounted a multi-sectoral response to the COVID 19 through the Interagency Task
Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases chaired by the DOH.
While these responses are being prioritized, the Philippine government gradually adapts
to the new normal by ensuring the continuity of its public services by providing alternative
strategies in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management.
The Schools Divisions of Pagadian City campaign on Disaster Preparedness specially
the Earthquake Drill because we experienced the shaking last 2 weeks so everybody was
alarmed what might be next to happened. Bulatok Integrated School joined the Fourth Quarter
Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill at exactly 10:00 o’clock in the morning ringing of
the buzzer was heard throughout the school campus as a sign of earth shaking. The same
time the teachers acted the Drop, Cover, and Hold inside the classroom. After shaking the
teachers went out quickly from their classroom proceeding to the safe area which is the school
ground. Some teachers were not around because they were assigned to work from home at
that time so they made it the following week so they can participate the said activity.
Bulatok Integrated School is very aware of the above are the mentioned program
prioritizing the welfare of the pupils and teachers.

to do. Then they acted as per instruction. All were participated actively.
