Lola Leoning or Lola Leonora is my one and only
grandmother. Every little thing matter to her, because she
always asks or inquires when she hears something even if it is
not very important, she has different kind of level of
awareness, annoyance and have a little humor too. But she
is so caring when it comes to her family and strong enough
to go on life even though there are times in life that she felt
down like when our grandfather passed away. Still, I am
proud and blessed that God given us not only a super loving
Lola but because of her, we are here in this world right now
witnessing how wonderful to have a Lola like her.
Mother Rosalina or Nanay Rosie truly serves as the light of
the home. To us, she is the diamond of our life. Even though
she didn’t finish study or got a degree because life is harder
on that time, so she chose to get a job earlier while caring
her sisters, she is the greatest person I know. Because I’m
amazed by her personality and values, indeed degree is just
a piece of paper and education is seen in your behavior.
She is always ready to help her sisters in needs even she hurts
by them or take advantage by her kindness that is how cool
my mother is. In addition, she almost knows everything even
manly tasks or work. That is why I am very blessed and
thankful to have her because she never fails us, never stop
loving and reminds me that she is always there for us.
My father is a kindhearted, funny, hardworking, and
loving person who always willing to support and guide us. He
is my buddy or best friend sometimes, when we are joking
and laughing with each other. From our birth until now, he
sacrificed himself by working any job like carpentry. I am
very thankful that he is my father and blessed to have him in
my life. Also, what I like the most about him is he is the type
that will not talk too much but rather his act smoothly, if he is
going to do something, he just doing it greatly without
speaking stubbornly. Papa Jimmy is not used to say he loves
us orally but we feel it soothingly and completely.
