Work Responsibilities - were to: 1) Assist in controlling hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee activities through interface with QC project management/supervisory personnel 2) Assist in supervision and coordination of project emergency action procedures including work assignments personnel administration staffing training for emergency contingency plans 3) Participate in developing & conducting job site staff safety orientation training program 4) Conduct project safety audits and property damage personal injury investigations on a daily basis 5) Ensure that each project site conforms to all applicable safety regulations 6) Document all accidents safety violations unsafe conditions/activities; issue confined space entry hot work permits as required 7) Provide solutions when sites are found to be in violation of safety standards 8) Accompany OSHA compliance officer’s corporate officer’s insurance inspectors during on-site audits as required 9) Provide safety and environmental training for all employees on site and monitor contractor compliance with OSHA company requirements 10) Maintain all safety documents for each project site 11) Conduct safety meetings as needed 12) Complete submit an unplanned event form to hr specialist when a work related injury occurs 13) Assist in preparing written appeals for safety violation citations 14) Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction 15) Manage staff through ensuring appropriate staffing provide formal and informal evaluations/feedback addressing employee issues when warranted and providing appropriate training mentoring.
