Communication
Communication is the act of giving, receiving, and sharing information -- in other
words, talking or writing, and listening or reading. Good communicators listen
carefully, speak or write clearly, and respect different opinions.
There are 2 basic types of communications: Verbal Communication. Non-Verbal
Communication.
 Verbal communication
Verbal communication is the use of words to convey a message. Some forms of
verbal communication are written and oral communication.
(Verbal communication is any communication that uses language to convey
meaning. It can include oral communication, such as speaking to another person
over the telephone, face-to-face discussions, interviews, debates,
presentations and so on. It can also include written communication,)
Examples of Written Communication: Letters. Texting.
 Non-verbal communication
Nonverbal communication is the transmission of messages or signals through a
nonverbal platform such as eye contact, facial expressions, gestures, posture, and
body language. It includes the use of social cues, kinesics, distance and physical
environments/appearance, of voice and of touch
Types of nonverbal communication







Facial expressions. The human face is extremely expressive, able to convey
countless emotions without saying a word.
Body movement and posture.
Gestures.
Eye contact.
Touch.
Space.
Voice.
