Under distance learning and blended learning we should utilize alternative tools without creating undue pressure on teachers, learners and their families. This issuance covers all public and secondary schools nationwide. Schools must adopt assessment and grading practices that can most meaningfully support student development and respond to varied context at this time Parents must communicate with the teacher on updates on their child’s situation progress and challenges encountered. Parents should guide their children in accomplishing the assessment and monitoring tools designed by the teacher. Teachers need to be creative and flexible in assessing student learning, while still adhering to the principles of quality assessment practice. They should prioritize the health and safety of their learners. It is Indeed that DepEd mission and vision continues as we go along with various ways to shape up our future leaders despite the pandemic that we are with.
