Why did you choose your proposed course and institution*?
National Security Policy has been a great interest I have been acquainted since I studied at Tallinn University
of Technology, Estonia, under the scholarship of ERASMUS MUNDUS AREAS+ program. Under the threaten of
super power in her neighboring country, Estonia has been extremely cautious about their national security,
especially to contain the invasion. Cambodia, not different from Estonia, is in the middle of the most strategic
geolocation of Southeast Asia and the Pacific, which used to be a bloody battle field between the capitalist led
by the US and its allies and the socialist led by the Soviet Union and China. As the struggle to influence in
international politics has been arisen, the confrontation and impacts to the national security of the kingdom
is greatly a contagious aspect that must be addressed properly with wise visionary policymakers.
