We control climate change by releasing greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. This is known as carbon dioxide and most of it comes from burning fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas. When these fuels are burned, they produce carbon dioxide and other types of gases. If we stopped burning fossil fuels, carbon dioxide would still be in the atmosphere, but it would stay there for a much longer time. We also release other gases that are very powerful in the process of climate change. Most of these gasses come from fossil fuel burning. Carbon dioxide remains in the atmosphere long enough to trap heat between the ground and the upper atmosphere. For this reason, global warming is happening around the whole world. The effects of pollution have been caused several years ago, so it will take a lot of time to reverse the effects. Everyone can play a part in reversing the damage. The best way to start is by recycling and conserving energy use. Humans are changing the climate because humans are adding carbon dioxide into our atmosphere. Since humans have done this, the temperature of our planet has significantly increased. There are many ways that we can try to reverse climate change and cut down on pollution and greenhouse gases. One way to reverse the effects of pollution is to cut down on the use of fossil fuels like coal, natural gas, and oil. Other ways to reverse the effects of climate change are: (a) use renewable energy; (b) clean our air by planting trees; (c) clean our water by recycling or reusing it; (d) apply the reduce, reuse, and recycle in everything; and (e) harness solar power to keep cars running on less gas.
