Academic impact: Jessica had to drop out of school because her parents couldn’t take care of her baby as they were working and so Jessica had to take care of the baby herself. 1.3.2. Social life: Jessica had no social life because she had to look after a baby and her boyfriend had broken up with her after finding out about the pregnancy. 1.3.3. Emotional impact: Jessica was so stressed and she be came very stressed and became depressed. She was struggling to take care of her baby because she was emotionally exhausted. 1.4. 1.4.1. Career Goals: When a teenager falls pregnant at school they can struggle a lot at school as they might become overwhelmed because of the unplanned pregnancy. This can result it a drop in their academic achievements and fail, or they might just drop out of school thereafter pursuing no further education and having no career. 1.4.2. Relationship Goals: A girl might find herself in a situation where her boyfriend doesn’t want anything to do with her because he feels embarrassed and is afraid of what the community and his peers might say because of the pregnancy, this can lead to a lot of conflicts and an end to the relationship. 1.5. You and your partner should look into the different kinds of contraceptives you can use when getting involved in any sexual activities (including oral sex).It’s is mandatory to do a 1 sexual health check every once in a while, A doctor can assist you with this. Sexting is sending, receiving or forwarding sexually explicit messages, photographs or videos of oneself to others with the use technological devices. 2.2. It is a criminal offense if you are under the age of 18 years. 2.3. He was put on trial for the distribution of child pornography and was found guilty and thereafter got sentenced to five years' probation. He was registered as a sex offender and this lead to being kicked out of his school. 2.4. 2.4.1. Monitor your emotions by taking it into consideration how social media can affect your mood, actions so you must practice a good health strategy by taking a break from social media. 2.5.3. Having many likes on your photo that you’ve posted does not make you more self worthy so you should remind yourself frequently that you don’t need your post to have many likes too feel more attractive and feel like you are perfect because no one is anyways. 2.5.4. Build a positive digital reputation by being mindful of what you share with the world because once you share something on social media it lives forever. Therefore you should think twice before posting any negative contents. 2.5.5. Try to be as private as possible with your life, do not share everything publicly on social media such as your locations to ensure your safety. 3 SECTION B: Democracy and Human Rights Activity 3: Democratic Participation 3. 3.1. 3.1.1. Citizens can take part in elections by voting for the Members of Parliament they want to address the and make decisions regarding the country. 3.1.2. Citizens can also vote in provincial and local elections, thus having a say in who will administer a province or a municipality or Metro. 3.1.3. The public can also participate in government by attending parliament sessions by taking part in discussion groups or joining a political party. 3.1.4. Citizens can also give their views when there are public hearing concerning proposed legislation. 3.1.5. Members of the public can also petition Parliament and can also lobby members of Parliament to introduce legislation that deals with their concerns. 3.2. 3.2.1. Build unity among children in the school buy promoting positive social relationships. 3.2.2. Address the needs of all learners in the school. 3.2.3. Encourage good relationship within the school between learners and educators and between learners and non teaching stuff. 3.2.4. Nation-building aims at the unification of people within the state, sporting events is another effective way to develop social harmony. Spectators can have a negative impact on nation building affirmatively on sporting events when they are rude and aggressive to the opposing team's spectators as this does not support the idea of national building. This can happen when spectators can turn to aggressiveness when their team is defeated because they can’t accept defeat.
