1. Is NSTP significant in today’s pandemic?
Yes, because NSTP refers to a community service which is lot of people helping each other, no one is poor
nor rich just to sustain one’s survival. Like community pantry, donations and other things that could help
anyone for survival. Even there is a pandemic the generosity and the solidarity of the Filipino is there, even
lockdowns are implemented we are still practicing a service to our community like cleaning our own house,
make some DIY’S gardening and plant lot of vegetables for us to survive. I realize that money isn’t that
important but be resourceful in life to survive.
2. Are young people/ individuals essentials in nation-building?
Yes, because every individual even young or adult are essential and equally responsible in nation-building
because everyone of us we are the citizen on one state and we care about our country. Youth is a great
asset of one nation it contributes as the future and improvements of our country that lead to pathway of
success and the progression of our country. We all know that young people are very energetic and willing
to learn on its actions as they adopt it on their environment to achieve their goals. With the help of young
people, their participations, abilities, intelligence and work are very important for the successful of our
country.
3. As a Salettinian student, how can you help to improve the lives of the people in your community? Cite
specific actions that you will take.
As a Salettinian student, I can help my community by participating to become a volunteer in our community.
With this, I can participate to help others when there is in needs. Like, when there is a storm and lot
evacuees in our community I am there to help, assist and pack the goods that are given to them. I know in
the little things I do I help them, inspire and make them smile. I also contributed some of my possessions
by donating my own clothes and money to the people in needs in my community. I provide what I have I
give what I can give and lend my actions as I want to do this because I don’t want them to become sad but
to see the brighter on their face.
