DFI 521–GROUP ASSIGNMENT
This is a group assignment. Each group has been assigned five companies and is
required to do the following:
Question 1
Using four technical analysis approaches, predict the likely behaviour of price
action of your five assigned stocks and then determine whether you should
buy, hold or sell the asset. Support your conclusions.
Question 2
Using four fundamental analysis models;
a). Calculated the intrinsic value of your five assigned stocks and determine
whether the stocks are undervalued, overvalued or properly valued.
b). Compare the values obtained using the above models and provide a
justification for the deviations found.
c). Combine your analysis on question 1 and question 2 to provide an overall
buy/sell recommendation.
Note:
✔ This assignment carries at least 20 marks out of your 50 marks of
coursework so you need to do a thorough analysis.
