Skit Night 2021
Jesus and Peter walking on water. Matthew 14: 25-33
*Starts with the disciples in a boat during a storm and Jesus walking on the water
towards them at 3 am*
The disciples (Scared): Is that a ghost?!
Jesus: Do not be afraid. Be courageous. I am here.
Peter: Lord, if it is you, tell me to step out of the boat and walk on the water towards
you.
Jesus: Yes, Come to me.
*Peter steps over the side of the boat and starts to walk on the water during the storm.
But then Peter took his eyes off the lord and look at the scary waves around him and was
terrified and started to sink into the stormy waters*
Peter: Lord save me!
*Jesus immediately reaches out and grabs Peter’s hand*
Jesus: You have so little faith. Why did you doubt me? Why did you take your eyes off
me?
*When they climbed back into the boat the disciples worshipped him*
The Disciples: You really are the Son of God!
