These terms and conditions (T&C’s) govern your agreement with Nespresso UK for a Nespresso
subscription plan. By choosing to purchase a Nespresso subscription plan you accept these
supplementary Terms and Conditions. These supplementary Terms and Conditions apply in
addition to the General Conditions of Sale, which can be accessed here:

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALL NESPRESSO SUBSCRIPTION PLANS
UPDATED NOVEMBER 2021 –TERMS AND CONDITIONS
AGREEMENTS AND NESPRESSO PLUS PLANS
1.
Who can subscribe?
Customers must be at least 18 years old and reside in the UK or Crown Dependencies. There is a
limit of one Nespresso Machine Subscription Plan and one Nespresso Coffee Subscription Plan (or
one Box Subscription Plan) per Nespresso Member.
2.
How do the payments work?
Your Nespresso coffee subscription plan has a fixed cost which will be charged to you through a
monthly fee. This monthly fee is fixed and varies depending on the subscription plan you select. If
you already have Nespresso credit on your account, this cannot be used to purchase a new
Subscription product.
3.
Do I have to be a Nespresso Member to purchase a subscription plan?
If you are not already a Nespresso Member, you will need to register via Nespresso.com or at one
of our Boutiques to sign up for any of our subscription plans.
4.
Definition of Nespresso Credit
Each month, you will receive a fixed amount of Nespresso Credit that you can use to purchase
Nespresso coffee, accessories or coffee machines on Nespresso.com, by phone, or in our
Nespresso Boutiques.
Nespresso Credit is non-refundable and non-transferable and may not be exchanged for a cash
equivalent. You can check your current balance of Nespresso Credit by logging into your account
on Nespresso.com or visiting one of our Boutiques.
Nespresso reserves the right to terminate the payment of the extra Nespresso Credit at any time
without giving any reason, or prior notice.
5.
What happens if I don’t have enough Nespresso Credit to meet the minimum order size for
coffee orders?

We understand that your monthly subscription plan may not always provide enough Nespresso
Credit to meet the minimum order requirements of 50 capsules for delivered orders (placed via
nespresso.com, Nespresso App or Nespresso Customer Relationship Centre on 0800 442 442 (UK),
so you could consider:

Opting to use your Nespresso Credit plus your credit/debit card to make up the extra.
This way you can still enjoy the benefits of your subscription plan and your Nespresso
coffee and accessories.

Opting to order coffee via your subscription plan every two (2) or more months (with no
impact on your coffee’s freshness).
•
Accumulate your Nespresso Credit to save for your favorite Nespresso coffee and
accessories.
Failed payments
If you fail to pay the monthly fee, Nespresso’s automated system will reattempt again until
successful for three consecutive days. Any outstanding balance will be carried forward so the next
payment due will be for the previous month and the current month.
Nespresso UK will freeze access to your Nespresso account after two failed monthly payments
until such payment is made. If no payment is received your subscription will then be terminated.
7.
Security checks
To ensure that your credit/debit card is not being used without your consent, we reserve the right
to validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order
process against appropriate third party databases.
We also reserve the right to perform a credit check. By accepting these supplementary Terms and
Conditions you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks, personal data
provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency (CRA) who may keep a
record of that information.
8.
Terminating your subscription
If you wish to terminate your subscription, you may do so by accessing your My Account/My
Subscriptions section on Nespresso.com, by contacting our Customer Relationship Centre on 0800
442 442 or by visiting a Nespresso Boutique.
You will not be entitled to a refund for any monthly fees already paid at the date of termination.
If you decide to cancel your subscription, this does not affect your statutory rights.

After the termination

After the termination of your subscription, any remaining Nespresso Credit will still be available
for you to spend and will expire after two years, unless the credit has been refunded to you.
10. Terms of use
Nespresso reserves the right to change the subscription Terms and Conditions at any time and at
our sole discretion. Should that be the case, we will provide adequate notification to subscribers
affected by any such change.
NESPRESSO COFFEE SUBSCRIPTION PLAN TERMS AND
CONDITIONS
1.
How much is it?
The amount you pay will vary depending on the subscription plan you select and will be fixed on a
monthly basis.
2.
When are payments due?
The first monthly fee is due at the time you sign up to the Nespresso subscription plan. The
monthly fee is to be paid by credit/debit card.
The subsequent monthly fees will be payable every month on the same day of the month as when
your subscription was activated if you pay by credit/debit card. If you chose Direct Debit the fee
will be taken on the same day of the month (+ 7 days).
3.
What’s included in the Nespresso coffee subscription plan?
You will receive monthly credit equal to the fee you pay. In addition, as a benefit for subscribing,
you will also receive extra Nespresso Credit of 10% in your account each month.
In return for the monthly fee, you can regularly select Nespresso capsules, accessories or coffee
machines, which you can purchase using your Nespresso Credit as described below. A minimum
order of 50 capsules is required for delivered orders (placed via nespresso.com, Nespresso App or
Nespresso Customer Relationship Centre on 0800 442 442 (UK)).
Nespresso Subscription Plan also includes free delivery on all coffee orders of 50 capsules or
more. However, if an order is placed for accessories or Food & Bites only (with no coffee
purchased) a delivery charge may be applicable.

Nespresso Credit

You will receive monthly credit equal to the fee you pay. In addition, as a benefit for subscribing,
you will also receive extra Nespresso Credit of 10% in your account each month.
All the Nespresso Credit you are eligible for will be added to the Nespresso Account that is linked
to your Nespresso Subscription each month within 4 days of receipt of the monthly fee in cleared
funds.
5.
How long does the Nespresso coffee subscription plan last?
The Nespresso coffee subscription plan can be cancelled at any time with no charge to you. It can
be terminated by contacting our Customer Relationship Centre on 0800 442 442, by sending an
email confirmation to one@nespresso.com or using the “Cancel” button in “My Account”.
NESPRESSO MACHINE SUBSCRIPTION PLAN TERMS
AND CONDITIONS
1.
How much is it?
You will purchase a Nespresso coffee machine for a nominal fee of £1 and the amount you pay
will vary depending on the subscription plan you select.
2.
When are payments due?
The first monthly fee will be payable at the time you sign up to the plan. The monthly fee may be
paid by Direct Debit or by debit/credit card.
The subsequent monthly fees will be payable every month on the same day of the month as when
your subscription was activated if you pay by credit/debit card. If you chose Direct Debit the fee
will be taken on the same day of the month (+ 7 days).
3.
What’s included in the Nespresso machine subscription plan?
You will purchase a Nespresso coffee machine for £1. Provided you pass our security and credit
checks, the Nespresso machine that goes with your plan will be dispatched or handed to you (if
purchased in a Nespresso Boutique) upon receipt of your first monthly fee in cleared funds.
You must return the Nespresso machine(s) clean and unused, any capsule sleeves unopened,
and/or accessories bought with the Credits from your first Monthly Fee that you have received, or
that were in transit at the time you notified us that you were exercising your right to cancel. If you
do not, we may deduct from the refund the diminished value of the Nespresso machine and
capsules.

4.
Nespresso Credit
Each month, you will receive a fixed amount of Nespresso Credit that you can use to purchase
Nespresso coffee or accessories on Nespresso.com, by phone, or in our Nespresso Boutiques. The
amount of Nespresso Credit you receive is equal to the monthly fee for the subscription plan.
All the Nespresso Credit you are eligible for will be added to the Nespresso account that is linked
to your Nespresso Account each month within 4 days of receipt of the monthly fee in cleared
funds.
5.
How long does the Nespresso machine subscription plan last?
The Nespresso machine subscription plan will go on for as long as you continue to make your
monthly payments and the contract will continue to roll until cancelled. It can be terminated by
contacting our Customer Relationship Centre on 0800 442 442 or sending an email confirmation
to one@nespresso.com at any time after the initial 24 months without any penalties for you or
using the “Cancel” button in “My Account”. See Paragraph 7 below for more details.
6.
Cooling off period
You have the right to change your mind and cancel your plan, without giving any reason, within
14 days of the day your Plan (or that of a person nominated by you) being activated (the “Cooling
Off Period”). You also have the right to change your mind and return your unused machine
without giving any reason, within 14 days of the day your subscription (or that of a person
nominated by you) being activated.
To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement during the Cooling
Off Period. You can contact our Customer Relationship Centre on 0800 442 442, or email
one@nespresso.com. If you cancel your Plan during the Cooling Off Period, we will repay to you
all payments received from you, including delivery charges (except for supplementary costs
arising if you chose a type of delivery other than our least expensive standard delivery).
We will repay you using the same method of payment as you used to pay us. You will not incur
any fees as a result of the repayment.
You must send back, or hand over to us, the unused Nespresso machine and any capsules that
you have received, or that were in transit at the time you notified us that you were exercising
your right to cancel. We will make the repayment without undue delay, and in any event no later
than 14 days after we have received the Nespresso machine and any capsules back from you, or,
if earlier, 14 days after you provide evidence that you have returned them. If you cancel before
you have received the Nespresso machine or any capsules, we will repay you within 14 days of the
date you inform us that you are cancelling the Nespresso subscription plan. We may withhold
repayment until we have received the unused Nespresso machine and any capsules back from
you.
If you return your machine, any Nespresso Credit that you received each month for the purchase
of a Nespresso machine subscription will also stop.

7. Cancellation Penalties
If you have purchased a machine as part of your Plan and wish to terminate your Plan before the
end of the initial 24 month Term, you may do so by contacting our Customer Relationship Centre
on 0800 442 442 or by visiting a Nespresso Boutique, or by emailing one@nespresso.com . If you
terminate before you have paid all 24 Monthly Fees, you will be required to pay a Termination
Fee.
The Termination Fee will be the appropriate Termination Fee for your selected Plan (which is £70
for the £20 Plan, £110 for the £25 Plan, £140 for the £30 Plan, £160 for the £35 Plan, £200 for the
£45 Plan, £350 for the £55 Plan and £550 for the £70 Plan). You will not be entitled to a refund for
any Monthly Fees already paid at the date of termination.
This does not affect your statutory right to cancel your Plan or return your unused Nespresso
machine within 14 days of the Plans activation or receipt of the Nespresso machine.
BOX SUBSCRIPTION PLAN TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.
How much is it?
The fee will be equal to the subscription plan you select and will be fixed on a monthly basis.
2.
Where can I purchase a Nespresso subscription box plan?
The plan can be purchased in selected trade partners’ retail stores, however not via
Nespresso.com or Nespresso Boutiques.
3.
How do I redeem the code in my box?
When you purchase your subscription box, you will receive a unique redeemable code inside.
You will connect to nespresso.com/coffee-subscription-box and then you can use the redeemable
code towards the payment of the first monthly fee.
You will have to pay a one-time validation fee of £1 at the checkout which will be refunded to you
in Nespresso Credit.
4.
What else do I need to know about the online process?
You will be asked to confirm your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Once your plan is activated and the Nespresso Credit is added to your account you will receive a
confirmation email.

Your first monthly fee will appear as Nespresso credit on your account as soon as your
subscription is activated online.
The subsequent monthly fees will be payable every month on the same day of the month as when
your subscription was activated. The monthly fees are to be paid by credit/debit card.
6.
What’s included in the Nespresso box subscription plan?
By purchasing a box coffee subscription plan, you will receive an equal amount in Nespresso
Credit as soon as your subscription is activated online. As a benefit for subscribing an additional
10% Nespresso Credit will be added to your account. A minimum order of 50 capsules is required
for delivered orders (placed via nespresso.com, Nespresso App or Nespresso Customer
Relationship Centre on 0800 442 442 (UK)).
Nespresso Subscription Plan also includes free delivery on all coffee orders of 50 capsules or
more. However, if an order is placed for accessories or Food & Bites only (with no coffee
purchased) a delivery charge may be applicable.
7.
Nespresso Credit
Each month, you will receive a fixed amount of Nespresso Credit that you can use to purchase
Nespresso coffee or accessories on nespresso.com, by phone, or in our Nespresso Boutiques. The
amount of Nespresso Credit you receive is equal to the monthly fee for the subscription plan.
N.B. Nespresso Credit cannot be redeemed in our trade partners’ retail stores and must be used
at one of the Nespresso Direct Channels as listed above.
All the Nespresso Credit you are eligible for will be added to the Nespresso Account that is linked
to your Nespresso Subscription each month within 4 days of receipt of the monthly fee in cleared
funds.

How long does the Nespresso box subscription plan last?
The Nespresso box subscription plan will go on for as long as you continue to make your monthly
payments and the contract will continue to roll until cancelled. It can be terminated by contacting
our Customer Relationship Centre on 0800 442 442, by sending an email confirmation to
one@nespresso.com or using the “Cancel” button in “My Account”.
9.
Return of the box
If the box is returned, then a refund can only be provided if the seal is not broken. In the event
that the seal is broken, a refund will not be given.

NESPRESSO PLUS MACHINE SUBSCRIPTION PLAN

1. How much is it?
You will purchase a Nespresso coffee machine for a discounted fee and the amount you pay will
vary depending on the subscription plan you select.
2. When are payments due?
The first monthly fee and discounted price of machine will be payable at the time you sign up to
the plan. The monthly fee may be paid by Direct Debit or by debit/credit card. The subsequent
monthly fees will be payable every month on the same day of the month as when your
subscription was activated if you pay by credit/debit card. If you chose Direct Debit the fee will be
taken on the same day of the month (+ 7 days).
3. What’s included in the Nespresso Plus machine subscription plan?
You will purchase a Nespresso coffee machine for a discounted fee. Provided you pass our
