Ashers assignment is to be the Director of Recreation, yes because hes really playful
and the elder knows that.
3. Page 56, “Thank you for your childhood.” Explain.
The message was that childhood was something that the individual shared or gave
up/sacrificed for the greater good.

1. What is the difference between “assigned” and “selected”?
Assigned is to be given a job and selected is to be chosen to do the job
2. What is Jonas selected to do?
To be a receiver
3. What attributes does Jonas have that will help him in his assignment?
Jonas has his cleverness, the courage and the capacity to see beyond
4. What is this “capacity to see beyond”?
Is to see things that the others cannot see or feel.
