EXPERIMENT:
AIM:
To observe the effect of banana peel on growing
plants.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
6 POTS (12x12), FERTILE SOIL, TOMATO SEEDS,
WATER, BANANA PEEL, TROWEL
PROCEDURE:
1.The experiment has been divided into 2 sets.
SET 1- POT 1(ONLY WATER), POT 2(DIRECT
BANANA PEEL CUTTINGS), POT 3(GRINDED
BANANA PEEL)
SET 2- POT 1(70 ML LIQUID FERTILISER), POT
2(100 ML LIQUID FERTILISER), POT 3(130 ML
LIQUID FERTILISER)
2.The pots are filled with soil using a trowel
3.Five, dry tomato seeds are placed inside each pot
equidistant to each other
4.The seeds are covered with a layer of soil
5.Water is sprinkled over the soil to keep it moist
6.The pots are placed under the sunlight for further
observations.
7.The banana peels fertilisers will be added in the
respective pots once the shoots appear.
