INTRODUCTION I. The Quran is the holy book which Muslims recite and turn to for guidance in all aspects of their life. II. The Quran is unique because it is the only revealed book that exists today in the precise form and content in which it was originally revealed. III The distinctive approach of the Quran is that its spiritual message includes practical injunctions aimed at the general welfare of human beings, society and the environment in which we live. IV. Cat Stevens once said, “Everything made is so much sense. This is the beauty of the Quran, it asks you to reflect and reason”. V. The Quran contains all the good messages and even give the advantages from its recitation to the practitioners according to some researches. – Central idea (thesis) (Transition: Let’s move on to the advantages of Quran recitation toward psychological condition.) BODY I. II. III. IV. For Muslims, the Quran has always been a means to help reduce stress and anxiety. The Quran describes itself as a remedy for ailment that are in the heart. A recent study in the Journal of Religion and Health investigated the impact of Quran recitation on anxiety in haemodialysis patients. The study found a significant reduction in anxiety among the group of patients who practiced the Quran. Additional studies confirm that the Quran is a source of stress reduction for mental health patients. These results suggest that listening to the Quran could be recommended by psychologists for improving mental health and achieving greater calm.
