HISTORICAL DATA ON COVID-19 The Philippines has been severely affected by COVID-19. According to Latest WHO figures as of January 17, 2022, the Philippines had recorded over 3 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 with over 52.700 deaths. Since March 2020, the country has taken strict measures to halt the spread of the virus, including lockdowns such as Enhanced Community Quarantines. Looking down on our context, based on the record of the Rural Health Unit of President Roxas, Capiz, there were 213 confirmed Positive Covid-19 Cases from the onset of the virus up to date and 6 of them were identified as the pupils of Domingo M. Locsin Elementary School. Close contacts of the recorded positive were all cleared and underwent mandatory quarantine. Further, there were 0 recorded Covid-19 cases for both teaching and nonteaching personnel. However, there were 5 teaching personnel who had directly closed contact with a confirmed Covid-19 positive. But all of them were tested negative both RTPCR and Antigen Test and they all underwent 14 days mandatory quarantine.
