Upon arriving at Huaer, scholars should exhibit a positive attitude towards their teachers and
fellow peers and be excited to join our campus! New scholars will be given a diagnostic exam
that tests their reading comprehension and grammar skills, as well as an individual speaking
exam. We will then take both scores and, as a department, place them in a group which we
feel will be most accommodating to the scholars’ individual needs (beginning, developing,
advancing).
