The Church of Immaculada Concepcion
in Baclayon is considered to be one of the
oldest in the Philippines. Construction that
began in 1717 and the current building was
completed in 1727. Millions of white eggs were
said to have been used as cement and corals as
blocks.
The Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate
Conception in Baclayon is one of the oldest
stone churches in the Philippines and is located
in Bohol, in the Visayas region.

The Church of the Our Lady of the
Immaculate Concepcion in Baclayon is
considered as one of the best-preserved Jesuitbuild churches in the region, although in the
19th century, the Augustinians added modern
touches and a number of stone buildings that
are now in the vicinity of the church.

The Church of San Pedro in Loboc, Bohol is
the second oldest church in Bohol. It was
originally built in 1602 but rebuilt in 1638.
Inside the church are remarkable naive
paintings on the ceiling. Attached to the
building is a three-storey convent, which today
on the third floor is the Museo de Loboc.

The Clarin Ancestral House dates back to
1840. The 167-year-old Clarin Ancestral House
was declared as a heritage site by the National
Historical Institute, and is now housing a
family collections that date back to the
American period.

The Dauis Church occupies on the shore of
Panglao Island opposite of Tagbilaran City. The
church and the convento can be viewed from
the Mansasa seaside if one travels from
Tagbilaran City to Baclayon. The road from the
Gov. Jacinto Borja Bridge also gives an
excellent view of the church.

Punta Cruz Historical Watchtower is
located at the western tip of Maribojoc,Bohol.
Built in 1796, the only perfect isosceles triangle
tower structure formed in the country. This was
built to dedicate it to San Vicente Ferrer, and
served as the lookout for incoming pirates to
protect the settlement from slave raiding
Moros.

The Church of Our Lady of Light in Loon,
Bohol is the biggest church in Bohol. Designed
by the Domingo Escondrillas, a government
engineer, the church has two octagonal bell
towers, and is fully symmetric. Before the
church was constructed at its current spot, a
chapel was built during the term of Fray
Manuel de Elizalde in 1753. Approximately 50
years later, the Augustinian church was
renovated into Ionic and Corinthian style.

The Carlos P. Garcia Heritage House was
built during the years 1953–1954 on the former
residence of the Jorolan family. Originally, the
house was rented by Garcia family as he resided
from the opposite side of Bohol. After World
War II, the Garcia family bought the land and
build a house. Hence, the house became his
official provincial residence.
