ELP Note Taking and Reflection Document Topic: Time management Presenter: Date: 28/4/21 Notes: Summary: Regulating your energy levels is very important Avoiding burnout, procrastination Set aside quality time to the things that matter Take breaks when necessary physical energy is an important step as well 30 day challenge to improve yourself 20 mins of exercise recommended a day Action: Strategies for managing your physical energy Sleeping well, esp sleep hygiene Try and set aside work + personal life i.e. don’t do work in bed so your body associates it with sleep Wind down before bedtime Reflection: It was interesting to hear the connection between time management and physical energy in this session, as they aren’t things I would usually consider go together. Very important to manage your health, diet, sleep, exercise, etc. to build up your motivation to do work, and endurance.
