Marketing and Branding
It is the goal of the Community Relations Department to have continuity between the materials
distributed at the Center of Hope, the Thrift Stores and the Kroc Center. Within the next year,
this department will provide marketing materials, brochures, ads and signs for use in any facility
in the Augusta Command and make materials available upon the request of each department
director.
Presently, the CR Department is in the process of developing a marketing identity to be used for
materials distributed at all facilities. Until this is completed, however, we are asking that all
departments start today to develop continuity in its materials. Specifically:
Font: Adobe Garamond Pro & Garamond; Trajan Pro and Adobe Jenson Pro are the
required Salvation Army fonts. However, all computers are not presently equipped with this font
and Trajan Pro is set up in “caps only”. So, until the fonts can be made available on all
machines, please use Adobe Garamond Pro or Garamond fonts as they are similar and available.
Branding: Doing the Most Good; The branding featured above must be included in all
marketing materials. There are numerous logos available, but this is the established “brand” of
The Salvation Army and must be included on all materials. See the exception below.
Kroc Center Logo; The Kroc Center is required by the approval of Kroc trustees and THQ to
display the Kroc Center logo (see below) on any Kroc Center-related materials. When possible,
the CR Department will attempt to incorporate both logos.
