1. What expertise would you like to develop related to teaching?
I would work on developing the Instructional Delivery Skills and the interactive skills
with the learner because students learn at different rates. Sometimes the educational
teacher has had to explain a piece of information seven times in seven different ways
before it goes on. Moreover, on the side of interactive skills, I must train myself to be
patient and calm and not lose nerve either with their learning difficulties or challenging
behavior.
2. What area of research is of interest to you?
I am interested in healthcare-related research, especially innovation that involves
promoting health and preventing disease such as Medical Devices. I worked on 2 projects
one of them has a granted patent from the USPTO.
3. What type of service do you find the most interesting?
Being preceptor to many new employ nurses, trainees, and intern students in nursing and
other medical field disciplines during my 4 years of experience I perceive that there is so
much to learn, teach, and possibly much to change in the education process. Since I am
always rushing to teach and train others, I see myself as a mentor who will have a more
influential role in the educational process than any other role.
