Term 1 project Grade 6 SCIENCE Food to Facades EXPO CONNECTION Sustainability will permeate Expo 2020 through the design of smart buildings, careful choice of materials and supply chains, as well as through engaging experiences that remind us of our connection to the earth. We will demonstrate new ways to regenerate water, upcycle waste, and reduce carbon emission, offering palpable insights into a brighter future. HOLISTIC AIM To introduce the concept that human designs can have a positive relationship with the natural environment and create benefits for both humanity and nature. LEARNING OBJECTVES Recognize that food waste is a significant challenge. Explore the outcomes of food wastes. Identify materials done from food waste. Design your own material made from food waste and explain how it will be made, used and recycled. Research Part o o o Part o o Part o o Part o o 1: Food Research types of food we enjoy.
