• The individual avoids or denies that there is
conflict or gives in just to please the other
party
• What are the pros and cons?
Conflict confrontation
• Individual wants to settle it in manner that is
aggressive and defiant.
• Pros and cons?

• Individual does not avoid nor get aggressive,
instead uses resolution skills to resolve
conflict in a healthy and mature manner.
The cons of conflict in relationships
• People often put the blame on the other party
only.
• It could make the situation worst .
• Unforgiving words can be said which puts a
strain on the relationship.
• Some listen to respond not to understand.
• Leads to extreme behaviours.
The pros of conflict in relationships
• Individual becomes aware of how the other
feels.
• Opportunity to learn and better ones short
coming.
• Vent frustration in a healthy way.
• Express ones emotions.
• Resolve issues , make the relationship
