P OSI T I ON D ESC RI PT ION TITLE: INCUMBENT: ENTITY: REPORTS TO: Associate Knitting Teejay Lanka PLC Knitting/Operations Executive- Knitting FUNCTION: LOCATION: REPORTEES: Direct: Indirect: Knitting Avissawella PURPOSE: To ensure the supply of yarn to the machine in required time and attend to all yarn quality and quantity related issues. Key Deliverables Key Performance Measures 1. Perform the accurate yarn requisition and smooth the yarn loading process of creels with the required yarn whilst adhering to standard operating procedures in order to ensure availability of correct raw materials at correct time to the machine for smooth operation. Timeliness Accuracy Efficiency 2. Attend to yarn related issues regarding yarn quality and provide necessary samples and information to the yarn quality team Accuracy in data Machine down-time 3. Carry out yarn return process, winding process and knitout process to confirm the accurate yarn consumption. Quality of service 4. Coordinate the yarn stock count process within the shift to improve the accuracy of data. Machine efficiency Quality of service 5. Effectively taking over and handing over the shifts, in order to minimize variability and ensure un interrupted production operation from one shift to the other. Timeliness Efficiency 6. Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management Availability 7. Make sure the tidiness and 5S standards in the Knitting floor and made a good working environment by coordinating necessary teams.
