This is my share of impression, experiences, thoughts and feelings after I listened
to the music of African and Latin American Music.
First, I will discuss my share of impression, experience, thought, and feelings
to the African music. We all know that music is part of everyday life of every African people
whether if it is in work, ceremonies and even in communication. After I listen few of their
musics I found out that they are very creative because I can see that they can create
music or sound or rhythm by just clapping, tambol-tambol, even in acapella, by just
singing all together it can create a very good sound. I can see that their music is very
unique to other musics. I mean everyone has a uniqueness when it comes to other things.
When you listen to their songs, it is very lively that you can dance to the rhythm. The
drums, the vocalist of that particular group, and even the background voices are good
when you combine.
This time, I will share my impression, experience, and thoughts to the Latin
American Music. I can say that Latin American Music is similar to African music, of course
Latin American, Music is influenced by African music the only difference is Latin American
Music is like modern version of African music. The lyrics is understandable. Reggae is
one of the example of Latin American Music. The combination of the band and the
instrument is very good. The opening of drums with the trumpets, the guitar and the noise
of people. You can say that there is a connection. I know that there’s a lot of different
music in Latin American Music.
