Chop the shampoo into the bowl. Stir the shampoo into the bowl. Slice the shampoo into the bowl. Can we think of any others? Pour or squeeze Find the imperative verb. Pour the secret potion into the bowl. Melt the secret potion into the bowl. Shake the secret potion into the bowl. Can we think of any others? Mix or stir. Adverbs What is an adverb Modifies the verb, gives extra information e.g quickly stir Find the adverb: Gently squeeze the shampoo into the bowl Quickly pour the secret potion into the bowl Add the adverb __________ slice the play doh into the bowl __________ squeeze the toothpaste into the bowl Task Come up with 8 items to add to your medicine and add an imperative verb and adverb.
