Data –
Raw facts that describes a phenomenon, such as the present temperature, movie rental prices, or
your age. Or in another word” Data is defined as facts or figures, or information that's stored in or
used by a computer”
Example: Hers are 2 type example of Real life data
1]computer data: text documents, images, audio clips, software etc.
2] product data: price and weight of the products
Information –
Data with a special significance in a given situation. Average age, youngest and oldest customer, and a histogram
of client ages are examples of aggregated statistics with meaning.
Example: transaction processing systems., decision support systems.
Business intelligence:
Business intelligence (BI) is collective information about Customers, Competitors, and Business partners.
Business Intelligence is literally relating with all business related issue.
BI can help you make effective, important, strategic business decisions.
Examples of BI tools include data warehouses, dashboards, reports, data discovery tools, and
cloud data services.
