If I’m going to rate up my own wellness in terms of eight dimensions, I rate myself 6/10 in physical wellness because I don’t usually exercise even when there is no pandemic I only exercise 2 to 3 times a week. I always stay up in my room to play videogames read comic books. I rate myself 9/10 in emotional wellness because during failures or crisis, I always remain optimistic and make the best decisions to keep moving forward. I rate myself 8/10 in intellectual wellness because I am curious and eager to learn new things. I am always open to new ideas and accept mistakes committed by others. I rate myself 9/10 in social wellness because I am good at interacting with others. I rate myself 7/10 environmental wellness because I often participate in organizations and activities that help preserve and promote a healthy environment. I rate myself 9/10 in occupational wellness because even though I am only a student I always give my best effort to my studies to reach my ideal job in the future. I rate myself 8/10 in spiritual wellness because even though I can’t attend mass because of the pandemic I believe in the words of God and I always pray at night. What do you think is the significance of physical fitness testing in your own personal life, most especially during this time of pandemic? Physical fitness plays a vital role on our life. It has several factors that we, human, rely on. Studies shows that being physically fit is a huge contribution to our health condition, and not only that, it can promote healthier state of mind as it lessens our stress and in some cases, it can cure depression. Aside from that, regular exercise can benefit our bones, muscles, joints, and most specially, our heart. Maintaining our weight may be a burden to some people. There are situations where in people eat healthy foods but experience difficulty in reducing their weight. We must remind ourselves that being physically fit requires good condition of exercise regularly and intake of healthy foods. Therefore, achieving your desired body, you must possess discipline. As I mentioned earlier, in our daily life, we mostly rely in our physical strength. Getting up in the morning and walking my way on my school, strength is necessary, and one of the main source of our strength is our build up muscle and bones. Remember that we are able to execute harder and more complicated tasks if we have good condition of fitness. Looking back on last year’s dilemma, a fatal virus has rapidly spread across the globe resulting to the down fall of the economic status, livelihood, education and various components of society. This noble virus affects of respiratory system and target our breathing cycle. Being physically fit in these situation may help you to fight the virus and resist yourself from catching it. Our health may boost and develop our immune system that has the ability to fight the virus from entering our system. We are all managing additional stress related to the growth of the COVID-19 pandemic and its potential to threaten the health of ourselves, our families, and our communities. Please consider using physical activity and exercise as a strategy to maintain health during this stressful period.
