Activity 3
When I am writing my personal characters, I’m happy because I really know myself even
though some of my character is not as good. When I asked to describe myself, I never know
what to say, but I should know myself the best. It all boils down to understanding my
personality type. Knowing your personality type can change your life in so many ways.
You will be able to know where you belong and what you need to do to be successful
whether in academics, relationship and life. Checking your personality type may not seem
like such a big deal. However, it is well-known that people who are very successful in life
are those who have been able to figure out their personality type. Understanding personality
type can help you to understand your preferences and the preferences of other people and
how or why these might be different. Personality types are useful for recognising how we
lead, influence and communicate. Understanding some of your personality traits as well as
those of the people you are close to is also helpful in relationships. Learning more about
my personality type can also help me to discover new ways to approach problems. If you
discover that you tend to be high on introversion, you might take care in the future to give
yourself plenty of time to become comfortable in a situation before you introduce yourself
to a new person. By understanding and acknowledging both of my strong and weak points
of my personality, I could then cater to my strong points allowing me to be more successful
at the things I’m good at. Knowing your limit as well helps keep you from becoming burned
out on something.
