Hercules By: Steven White, Preston Cobb, Tracey Thomas Hercules Ordinary World Hercules, a god and the son of Zeus and Hera lived with the gods in Olympus. he was kidnapped by Hades’ henchmen, so they can kill him and ensure Hades’ victory. They force-fed him a potion that would strip his immortality from him, that way they could kill him. The henchmen ended up failing because some old people showed up before they could finish the job. Those old people took him in and raised him down where the mortals Hercules would always cause havoc and distress because his godly strength was too much to handle for human interaction Hercules: Call to Adventure Hercules sets out to find Phil, so he can teach him to become a hero Because of this Hercules felt like he didn't belong with the humans, so he locates a temple to ask the gods where does he belong Zeus ends up answering his question by telling him that he is his father and that the only way he can return home is finding Phil, become a hero and restore his godhood Hercules: Refusal of the call Hercules never refused the call because he is eager to restore his godhood Once he restores his godhood he’ll be able to return home with the Gods That’s where he belongs, so he will do anything in his power to get there. Hercules: Meeting with the Mentor Hercules was told by his father, to seek out Phil so he can teach him to become a hero. Once he found Phil, he was eager to become his student, but Phil refused at first. As soon as Phil found out that Hercules was Zeus’s son, he saw how much potential he had and decided to teach him how to become a hero. Hercules : Crossing the First threshold Hercules does commits to understanding any challenge ahead of him. That's also most of setting of the movie , which is hercules facing challenges to become a god again and reunite with his farther and the rest of the gods. Hercules agrees to face the consequences which is dying to save the soul of the women he fall in love with throughout the movie from the underworld or she dies. Hercules : Tests,allies, enemies The tests that hercules had to face was training with weapons to see if he was ready for real battles, battling monsters , and hades. Hercules allies was phil, his horse pegasus, and his father zeus. Hercules enemies was hades and the titans that hades had set up for him to face and fight. Hercules : Approach the inmost “cave” The edge of the most dangerous place in the movie was the underworld and the titans that were held in tartarus for years. The underworld was where all the souls were held by hades.The reason why the underworld is the most dangerous place in the movie is because hades was taking control of use for evil. The other most dangerous spot was where the titans were imprisoned in tartarus. Hercules : Ordeal Hercules greatest fear was not saving the love of his life. Hercules other fear was losing to hades ,not saving the world,and hades taking over the world and hurting the rest of the gods and making them his slaves. Hercules also did not want hades taking over Mount Olympus. Hercules : Reward Hercules reward was saving his love , getting his godhood back, and saving the world. After Hercules saved the world and Olympus from hades, it help Hercules get everything he wanted. So after hercules defeated hades he got his godhood but he choose to stay on earth with the women he had saved and fell in love with and watch over everybody from staying on the ground of earth instead of mount Olympus with his father zeus and the rest of the gods. Hercules: The Road Back Hercules saves Megara’s soul and ends up taking her place by giving up his soul. Hercules: Resurrection Hercules trades souls with Megara, but, even though he lost his soul, he ended up regaining his godhood and immortality, which made him come back to life. Once that happened, he stopped Hades, the Titans, and saved Earth. Hercules: Return with the elixir Hercules realizes where he belongs and, decides to stay on Earth with Megara. Summary Hercules finally realized where he belongs after saving earth , finding Phil, and staying with his true love. Hercules ends up living happily ever after with Meg and his friends. Hades plan has been prevented, and the Titans aren’t returning for a very long time.
