Electromagnetic Spectrum Mobile
1. You will create a mobile out of household materials that illustrates the
properties of the electromagnetic spectrum
2. The mobile must have the following items:
a. Each of the seven types of radiation and a description:
b. The wavelength of each type
c. The frequency of each type
d. A commercial use or application of the type of radiation
3. The mobile must have the types of radiation in order from greatest energy to
least energy
4. Must include pictures and/or illustrations for each type
5. The mobile must be able to be hung from the ceiling
6. Neatness and creativity will count 20% of the grade
7. You may work in pairs or individually
