What to Observe Situations (Parts of the lesson plan, motivation, presentation of the lesson, activities, evaluation & learning environment) Observations (record in detail if possible) The teacher started her lesson through review of past lesson (idioms) and at the same time made use of idioms in giving the standards to follow in watching video Tasks (Teachers actions in a particular situations described above) The teacher presented her lesson by a video clip. She explains some of the sense in the video to guide pupils for better understanding. She also made use of the power point during her discussions. Action (Learners actions relative to the teacher’s task described above) The pupils watch the video clip and performed the group activity with cooperation and eagerness. Results (Responses or actions of the learners described above both quantitative (eg 85%) and qualitatively (eg most of the pupils) The pupils determine the purpose of the text with 75% accuracy.
