HOW TO ANSWER?
Step 1: Accept the question politely (Tiếp nhận câu hỏi một cách lịch sự)
Here are some sample phrases you can refer to:
ü Certainly, sir/ma'am.
üDefinitely, sir/ma’am
üAlright/sure/OK, no problem
üOf course, I can, sir/ma’am
üI see…
For example,
question #7: Can you tell me how much it costs to take the tour? -
Certainly, sir. [...]
HOW TO ANSWER?
Step 2: Take time to find information (Kéo dài thời gian để tìm thông tin)
You can refer to a few common phrases below:
ü Let me check for more information on that.
üLet me see here
üGive me just a minute to look into that, sir/ma’am
üHmm…I'll need a moment to find that information for you
üLet me have a look
For example, answering question #7: Can you tell me how much it costs to
take the tour?
- Certainly, sir. Give me just a minute to look into that. [...]
HOW TO ANSWER?
Step 3: Answer the question (Trả lời câu hỏi)
In this section, after you have scanned the information you are looking for, you can
combine some of the following common phrases to give the answer:
üIt looks like that’s…
üIt appears that X is…
üAccording to the schedule/agenda/itinerary…
The answer contains negative information, or surprises:
üI'm really sorry, but…
üUnfortunately,…
üI apologize, but…
üI'm afraid that…
HOW TO ANSWER?
For example, answering question #7:
Can you tell me how much it costs to
take the tour?
- Certainly, sir. Give me just a
minute to look into that.
According to the information I
have here, the Danville City
Tours costs an adult $75 and
children under 12 $50.
Remember that children must
be accompanied by an adult
and the reservation must be
made in advance.
