1. What is effective communication to you and how it applies/how will it apply to you in your
chosen course/career?
In my own perception, effective communication is a way of exchanging and receiving
information, may it be own ideas, thoughts, experience and general knowledge, with
individual/s efficiently and effectively that enables the parties involved to come to an end of
understanding, agreement, intended message conveyed clearly and acquire something.
Effective communication applies to me by my way of learning, understanding the information
conveyed to me which helps me widen my knowledge about different things, in situation when
asking questions, and in ways where I was able to express my thoughts and receive feedbacks
form the listener. It will apply to my future career by way of communicating data in the
financial statement in the future to help external users in making sound decisions, expressing
ideas in matters that I am knowledgeable with, connecting with co-workers to develop a
productive workplace and the ways that will help me improve my skills in communicating
verbally or in writing.
